THE HOUSE OF JEN RODD
I created The House of Jen Rodd as a reflection of my life fully lived — wild and refined, spiritual and sensual, rooted in strength, love and wonder.
I grew up in South Africa, surrounded by raw landscapes, heat, and colour — a world that shaped my love for movement, creativity, and contrast. From there to London, and now Amsterdam and Haarlem. I’ve carried that pulse with me: the wildness of wild Africa, the edge of the city, and the quiet elegance of Europe.
The House is where it all meets — mindfulness, movement, design, and the stories we live.
A space where yoga and mindfulness sit alongside art, fabric, and the quiet confidence of women who know themselves.
"HOTRODD" — the name my male friends used to call me — became the inspiration for the name HOTRODDS, my first collection: hand-painted works transformed into pieces that move with the body. The HOTRODDS LEGGINGS.
Each one carries colour, strength, and a sense of play — a reminder that beauty is not passive; it’s alive. But more so that being real, being imperfect, being true to yourself - is the absolute cool.
Through my yoga classes, retreats, and conversations, I explore what connects us — resilience, honesty, and the courage to live truthfully.
